Juan Suarez is a bilingual educational leader with over ten years of public education experience in the Chicagoland area. Over his professional career, Juan has worked as a High School English as an Second Language teacher, district level Coordinator of English Learners services, elementary school Assistant Principal, and middle school Principal. Juan has worked as an independent consultant to the Golden Apple Foundation of Illinois where he mentored future teachers and taught summer pre-service teacher preparation courses. His educational background in bilingual education, and educational leadership has given him a broad base from which to approach many education topics including organizational leadership, curriculum development, instructional practices, strategic planning and school program designs.
